The Story
Marvin L. “Chip” Whitley started Whitley Construction Services in 2001 with a simple bet: if you do the job right the first time, the work sells itself. More than two decades later, the company still serves greater Houston, still answers its own phone, and still gets most of its work the same way it got its first, from a neighbor who saw a finished job.
Chip is an experienced general contractor with an eye for detail, and he cares about the work because his name is on it. That standard has carried the company from whole-home remodels in Spring Branch to bay house work on Galveston Island, and in 2011 it earned a Good Brick Award from Preservation Houston for renovation work that honored the city’s history.
Our clients call it perfectionism. We call it the reason the phone keeps ringing. Done once. Done right.
